How Blogging Doubled Visits to a Company’s Website
This client’s goal was more repeat visitors to the main website. I helped the client create a series of blog posts (one per month) using carefully chosen keywords.
Over the course of nine months, the client doubled the number of visits to his website from 3000 per month to 6000 per month. And, most of the visitors were viewing multiple pages on the website. (The more pages a potential customer visits, the more likely he is to make a purchase or request more information leading to an eventual sale.)
Once we began to see positive results from the blog posts, I edited them into an e-book along with additional material not included in the blog. The e-book established the business owner as an expert in his subject matter, resulting in additional revenue from sale of the book and more requests for the owner’s professional services.
We got these results by creating valuable content and using SEO (search engine optimization) rather than buying clicks on search engines. This method of Inbound (online) Marketing takes time to pay off so it is usually combined with other online and offline techniques to bring in leads and customers faster.
